About the Role:

The Sr. Technical Program Manager, Financial Systems is responsible for supporting the projects, programs and communications between Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, Pharmacy/ Supply Chain in relation to our Financial Systems. The goal of this highly cross-functional role is to keep all teams on track and tasks running smoothly while mitigating and navigating risk and maintaining clear internal communication across all related teams for projects and programs impacting our Financial Systems.

You Will:

  • Maintain a prioritized list of programs and projects related to all Financial Systems.

  • Schedule and lead cross-functional meetings, status calls, and deliverable reviews, regularly taking organized notes and sending meeting summaries.

  • Serve as the liaison between Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, Pharmacy/ Supply Chain in relation to our Financial Systems, ensuring business requirements for Financial Systems projects meet cross-functional needs. Act as the internal source of truth and main point of contact for assigned projects, as well as provide expert guidance and support for systems-related inquiries to internal stakeholders.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for third party consultants for projects related to Financial Systems.

  • Own coordination with Engineering and PM teams on ensuring accurate time is tracked for engineering projects in support of capitalization requirements for internally developed software efforts for our financial reporting and related compliance with Sarbanes–Oxley Act standards. Liaison with Accounting to deliver necessary reporting for internally developed software engineering efforts on a monthly basis.

  • Manage new and ongoing development within our internal platform to deliver business requirements and user acceptance testing.

  • Identify enhancement opportunities and drive the integration of financial systems to streamline workflows, improve data flow and accuracies, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This includes but is not limited to integrations with fulfillment centers, warehouse management systems, merchant processors and order management systems.

  • Anticipate risks and solve for roadblocks proactively, escalating appropriately.

  • Work with the accounting and technology teams for systems requirements for the month-end close process.

  • Develop best practices, protocols and controls to protect the integrity of transactional data and comply with requirements of the Sarbanes–Oxley Act. Liaison with internal and external auditors to provide support and sufficient documentation to comply with design and operating effectiveness of key SOX controls.

  • Ensure adherence to technology management best practices and strengthen internal controls by identifying and mitigating risks associated with systems.

  • Ensure Financial Systems infrastructure and application landscape are aligned with business strategy.

  • Own SOX controls for internally developed software reporting to Accounting, coordinating with Engineering Leads to validate engineer time tracking for financial reporting.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing financial systems and projects, ideally in hypergrowth environments.

  • Strong technical expertise in financial platforms (strong preference for Netsuite expertise)

  • Direct experience with public company PCAOB standards, GAAP accounting standards and SOX requirements

  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

  • Familiarity with compliance standards and best practices in technology management.

  • Ability to flex between priorities according to business needs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience managing various stakeholders and being flexible to different working styles

  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with an ability to quickly make decisions while remaining objective

  • Can-do, positive attitude that enjoys managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Curious and collaborative mindset with the ability to foster teamwork at all levels of the organization

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to be a team player, and ability to work well in a remote work environment

  • Ability to train and manage cross-functional teams
