About the Role:
As the Vendor Performance Manager, you will help ensure our supply partners are performing at a continuously high level. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, you will create and manage ongoing and ad hoc vendor programs, ranging from vendor manuals to new facility requirements. You will partner with cross-functional teams and use our systems to scale programs to vendors across all vendor partners. This role will allow you to gain experience across a number of product lines & help influence our supplier portfolio.
You Will:
Establish a vendor manual for all existing partners across our supplier portfolio and to roll out to new suppliers as they onboard
Consolidate and refine vendor scorecarding processes, formalizing KPIs to track across all partners and allowing for scale up with new vendors as we grow
Track vendor compliance against SLAs, working with the vendor managers to communicate and implement corrective actions
Run internal reviews of scorecards and SLA KPIs, communicating action items to vendor managers for follow up
Lead internal projects involving vendor compliance (shipping issues, packaging adjustments, etc)
Coordinate with internal system teams to build and maintain vendor dashboards
Onboard new vendors into our PO management system and troubleshoot any system issues with existing partners
Help identify, implement & track cost reduction strategies
Provide data to drive MSA negotiations with new and existing vendors
Assist in the RFx process for new vendors, providing targets for vendor performance and comparable benchmarks
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in vendor performance management
You Have:
5+ years of work experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field, with an emphasis on vendor management
Experience working with pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and/or supplement manufacturers
Experience with supply chain and analytical software (Netsuite, SourceDay, Looker, GSuite, etc)
Proven ability to develop and implement performance metrics, monitoring processes, and improvement plans
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions
Knowledge of contract management principles and practices
Experience working in quality assurance a plus
Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities
Supply Chain related certifications a plus
BS/BA degree
Up to 10% travel
