About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Compounding Research Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting comprehensive research and review of potential ingredients for new compounded products, and help to drive the company's product development strategy. This role will facilitate the approval of documents to stakeholders and communicate frequently with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, being able to drive the team to maintain deadlines.
You Will:
This position will support the innovation compliance team in executing priorities.
Assist in the research and review of potential ingredients in new compounded products.
Compile research in a well organized and concise manner.
Collaborate with sourcing to ensure appropriate grades of selected ingredients are procured.
Collect, organize, and maintain documentation associated with compounded and commercial prescription offerings, ensuring compliance and easy accessibility for future reference.
Other projects as assigned by the Compounding Compliance & Innovation team.
Facilitate team communication including scheduling meetings, e-mail, and slack regarding progress of projects and deadlines.
Maintain up-to-date internal tracking systems to facilitate deadlines and communicate project risks in a timely manner.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology or a science related field is preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in an FDA or State Board of Pharmacy regulated field such as pharmacy, compounding, manufacturing, or related industry.
503A and/or 503B compounding pharmacy experience is preferred.
Knowledge of USP and FDA compounding guidelines is preferred.
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
