People Coordinator @ Midi Health 💻
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented People Coordinator to join our growing People Team! This entry-level role plays a central part in supporting day-to-day People Operations and ensuring a smooth, high-quality employee experience from onboarding through offboarding.
You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about employee experience, and loves building smooth, scalable processes. Your colleagues would describe you as a systems thinker with an eye for detail and a “how can we make this better?” mindset. If you’re curious, organized, and excited to learn the ins and outs of People Operations, we’d love to meet you.
The People Team is scaling to support the needs of our growing workforce—and the People Coordinator plays a key role in that growth. Come join us! Just like menopause, this job is hot. 🔥
What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for employee questions via the People Team inbox (10am–7pm CT), delivering timely and helpful responses or routing to the right person.
- Support the execution of employee lifecycle changes: onboarding audits, change letters, offboarding workflows, and more.
- Ensure the accuracy of employee records across systems (Rippling, Notion, etc.) and digital files with confidentiality and care.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and workflow accuracy.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and I-9 form completion in compliance with federal guidelines.
- Support the independent contractor processes from intake to onboarding, setup, and offboarding.
- Maintain the People Directory and Notion New Hire Database.
- Track compliance training and certification completions.
- Support ad hoc People Team projects and cross-functional initiatives throughout the year.
Business Impact
- Deliver a consistent, high-touch employee experience that helps team members feel supported, informed, and connected to Midi’s culture.
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of people systems and data as we scale.
- Support first-of-their-kind People initiatives that shape the future of our growing organization.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong interest in growing a career in People Operations or HR.
- 1+ years of experience in a People, Operations, or administrative role (internships count!).
- Eagle-eyed attention to detail and follow-through—you catch the small stuff others miss.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting in group settings.
- A natural systems-thinker who asks “why?” and looks for ways to improve processes.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and modern collaboration platforms.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with care and clarity.
- A team-first, service-oriented mindset—your instinct is to help others succeed.
