The Position
This role combines expertise in medical librarianship, information systems, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in healthcare information management. This role combines traditional information retrieval skills with cutting-edge data science to revolutionize healthcare information management through AI and automation.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI-powered solutions for organizing and retrieving medical information.
Automate library processes using cutting-edge technologies.
Analyze and optimize digital medical library systems and databases.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify opportunities for AI and automation.
Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and privacy regulations.
Familiarity with digital library tools, database systems, and search strategy.
Experience in social media platforms.
Data visualization expertise using tools like Tableau.
SharePoint and website design experience.
Project management experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with information and knowledge management
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Informatics with focus on healthcare or ALA-accredited MLS or MIS, or equivalent advanced degree.
Three plus years' experience in information science and systems, medical librarianship a plus.
Experience in digital platforms, data/systems integration, AI, automation and digital dashboards.

Annualized Salary Range (US)
