The Position
The Alliance Manager role is an important role in the strengthening of Organon’s foundation and presence in Balkans markets and in innovating the way we collaborate and interact within our partner markets by working with customers and creating state-of-the-art business programs for Organon portfolio.
This person will be responsible for driving direct interaction based on face-to-face business discussions with local customers and other stakeholders. Person performing the role will be expected to deliver on business plan for Organon portfolio by utilizing different brands and franchises from Organon portfolio. The deliverable should be based on the key components of the agile way of working, collaboration within local and an international team and data-driven mindset, both to improve Organon’s position and to reach business results.
We are seeking skilled and experienced Alliance Managers to be responsible for fostering a strong and collaborative relationship and for supporting our partners to ensure the success of our collaboration in the markets by facilitating the latter in anything related to our Company.
The person could be also exposed on cluster level (Europe Eastern & Israel cluster) with a keen focus on enabling synergies between partner markets. She/He will work closely with several stakeholders across the entire internal cross-functional team in Balkans and in the cluster level.
This position reports into Director, Alliance Markets Director EEI cluster
Responsibilities
Serve as an intermediary point of contact for the local partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the companies
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local partner's business objectives, strategies, and key stakeholders
Drive business aspiration for customers and markets, negotiate and agree with partners on business strategy and activites, track business performance
Facilitate regular meetings and discussions between internal teams and the local partner to review performance, address issues, and align on priorities
Collect information about the market trends and communicating such information to our Company in order to be used by the latter for developing its strategy
Provide timely and accurate information to the local partner regarding product updates, launches, pricing, and market trends when required
Collaborate with cross-functional auxiliary teams within our company, including marketing, market access, regulatory, finance and supply chain, to ensure alignment
Monitor and analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks for our products
Monitoring the compliance with all relevant regulations, industry codes, and company policies in all interactions with the local partner
Internal Collaboration
Strong collaboration with Commercial, Market Access, Medical and other respective teams to support corporate and business strategy
Proactive support to properly manage the product or portfolio, with the approach aligned to product life cycle management and recognized business opportunities
Consulting of the finance department for forecasting purposes, planning and tracking promotional expenses, products pricing assumptions preparation
Assures an involvement of all relevant key stakeholders to develop and implement Organon EEI business strategies
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Completed studies in marketing, business or a comparable qualification
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, on commercial role and leading business activities, with a strong understanding of the Balkans market dynamics and environment. Experience in the alliance partnership management in pharmaceutical business will be an advantage
Proven track record of managing and monitoring successful partnerships or collaborations with external stakeholders
Experienced in work across different therapeutic areas including any of them: Contraceptives, Fertility, Migraine, Respiratory, Dermatology, Pain Cardiovascular, Bone, Neurology products and in a competitive, crowded and/or generic business environment
Highly proficient in data-driven project management and strong analytical skills, the ability to solve complex problems and drive change
High level of understanding of customer engagement opportunities & strategies, a good understanding of customers’ needs and business trends in pharma business
Empathic interaction with people, networking, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills are important
Ability to work in a complex and multi-market, multicultural, multi-task setting, across many functions and levels and across different customer types
Flexible and dynamic to adapt and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
Able to work independently and collaboratively with an open mindset
Languages:
Fluency in one of the languages of the covered region (Balkans) as native language and excellent command of English in speaking and writing

Education / Experience
University degree: bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Economics, Pharmacy, or related field. Master's degree is a plus
Minimum 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry
