The position
The Senior Specialist, Corporate Commercial Real Estate is responsible for assisting the Global Real Estate Lead in strategic planning, acquisition, leasing, and management of the organization’s commercial property portfolio. This role oversees end‑to‑end real estate lifecycle activities—including site evaluation, negotiations, financial modeling, project delivery, and asset optimization—to ensure alignment with business goals, operational needs, and long‑term value creation. The Senior Specialist collaborates closely with Facilities, Finance, Legal, and external partners to deliver high‑impact real estate solutions across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
1. Real Estate Strategy & Portfolio Management
Assist in developing and execute commercial real estate strategies that support organizational goals.
Assist in managing the full portfolio of leased properties, ensuring optimal utilization, cost efficiency, and compliance.
Conduct portfolio reviews, scenario planning, and market analyses to recommend consolidation, expansion, relocation, or optimization opportunities.
Conduct utilization studies, including management of data
Operate the lease administration database, including management of new leases to secure data is 100% accurate.
Manage lease administration system to ensure lease expiry/breaks or other terms are kept in view and acted upon in an expeditious manner.
2. Transaction Management
Assist in real estate transactions including site selection, acquisitions, dispositions, lease renewals, renegotiations, and terminations.
Oversee financial analysis, cash-flow modeling, and business cases for real estate investments.
Partner with internal Legal and external brokers/third parties to negotiate favorable commercial terms.
3. Project Delivery & Capital Planning
Work with Facilities, Construction, and external consultants to assess capital projects (fit-outs, renovations, new builds) and budget management.
Assist in the development of capital plans, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
Manage data tracking of past and future project costs to provide guidance in consistent budgeting for capital projects.
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Assist in managing relationships with landlords, brokers, developers, and consultants.
Assist in overseeing service vendors to ensure performance excellence and adherence to contract terms.
Serve as a key liaison to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on real estate matters.
5. Financial & Operational Management
Develop and manage budgets for leases, projects, and operations.
Assist in developing quarterly business review of full portfolio of commercially leased spaces
Identify cost savings, efficiency improvements, and commercial opportunities.
Monitor KPIs, market conditions, and industry trends to guide strategic decision-making.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or related field;
2-3+ years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or portfolio management.
Ability to work autonomously
Track record in working with senior leaders
MRICS, MCR or similar qualification preferred
Strong understanding of market dynamics, valuation, lease structures, and real estate law.
Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI proficiency
Data analytical skills
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Strategic mindset with strong problem‑solving and risk management skills.
Highly collaborative, cross-functional mindset.
Strong commercial acumen and results orientation.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced environments.
