We are growing rapidly, and the complexity of our business (product, geographies, and selling channels) grows with it. We need help defining our graphic identity as we scale business and our brand. We need a team player, capable of leading our graphic direction to conceptualize, design, create and enhance products in this emerging and heavily evolving space in support of our consumers, and their journey with us.
We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help define, grow, and elevate the Oura brand. You are a proactive, knowledgeable creative who has relatable experience driving design for e-commerce, campaigns, and brand systems. Key partners in this role include Creative Director, Art Directors, Copywriters, Product Strategy, Growth, and external partners.
What you’ll be doing
- Enhance the Oura brand reputation and effectively articulate brand positioning through Graphic Design.
- Deliver top-notch creative concepts, designs, and research of new graphic applications and styles.
- Lead and help define our graphic POV.
- Develop thought provoking designs and elevate campaign concepts.
- Translate verbal or written instructions into effective and compelling design applications.
- Support seasonal creative direction and storytelling through ideation, mood boards, and design explorations.
- Work daily with the Creative Team to ensure all deliverables are on-point in order to hit deadlines.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and help push the boundaries of our creative output and growth.
- Provide design support for growth, social, and campaign initiatives.
- Develop brand and design systems for Oura identity, web, title cards, email, growth (paid), and campaigns.
- Manage designer(s), ensuring their work is aligned creatively with the brief and brand.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional Graphic Design experience
- Expert in in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Proficient with Figma
- Must be well versed in creating for and delivering into social, interactive, 360 campaigns, experiential, and emerging platforms
- A conceptual thinker that can translate ideas into innovative and crafted design
- Clear communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Strategic thinker, comfortable ideating high-level concepts as well as coming up with detailed design executions
- Ability to present creative ideas aligned with Oura’s creative vision
- A user centric design approach, as evidenced by considerations for accessibility, technology platforms, and contextual storytelling.
- A passion for all aspects of design including conceptual thinking, typography, motion, copy, and imagery.
- Experience building products, developing component-based design systems and adapting brand guidelines to create scalable systems.
- Strategic problem solver who’s self-motivated, productive and efficient
- Cultural awareness in and outside the product industry
